Boston Alliance for Early Education has a unique and important niche in the early education and care community. Our focus is on both capacity building for the early education and care field to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability, and public policy advocacy that promotes universally accessible and high quality early education and care for all families and children in Boston. We offer training, technical assistance, and peer support for all early education and care providers, and conduct public policy advocacy and public awareness activities in support of children, parents and providers. Our activities are designed to develop a community-wide understanding and embrace of quality early education and care in a culturally diverse context, and to build a strong constituency for early education and care that includes all sectors of the community. Finally, we are an organization whose programs and priorities are driven by the expressed need of our members, and we remain deeply committed to developing leadership that is representative of the racial, ethnic and linguistic diversity of the early education and care field in Boston.
